Due to the Global COVID-19 Pandemic
The XLI Symposium of the International Society of Dermatopathology (I.S.D.P.) has been postponed until October 2021

Dear Colleague,

The XLI Symposium of the I.S.D.P. was to have taken place at The Westin Hotel, Cape Town from 15th to 17th October 2020.

Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 pandemic has also reached South African shores, placing our meeting in jeopardy. Following consultation with the I.S.D.P. Executive Committee, we have elected to postpone the Cape Town Symposium until October 2021. The Local Organizing Committee apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

I am certain that you will be in need of a welcome dose of post-pandemic academia and first class collegial engagement in the coming months. The revised Symposium dates will be made available as soon as possible. In the interim, please reserve a space in your October 2021 diary. In addition to savouring a comprehensive academic programme led by international luminaries in the field of Dermatopathology, a visit to these shores will afford you a wonderful opportunity to take in one of the most stunningly beautiful cities in the world, experience our warm South African hospitality, and explore not only the Western Cape’s renowned scenery and biodiversity, but also other parts of this truly unique country. In fact, I can think of no better way of combining business with pleasure!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Mother City in October 2021.

May you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy during these unsettling times.

Warm regards,

Wayne Grayson
